The Miaoli Supervision Station joins hands with the Toufen City Health Center to jointly provide services to the elderly over 75 years old. Starting from March 2024, the Miaoli Supervision Station originally stationed at the Toufen City Office twice a month to provide services in the morning. The health center handles license renewal services for the elderly, and then goes to the Toufen City Office in the afternoon to reduce the traveling distance for senior citizens to renew their licenses.
Miaobei folks are welcome to bring the original driver's license, original ID card, and 4 1-inch photos of the same group in the past two years (including physical examination) on the first and third Thursdays of each month from 9:00 to 11:00 am. Please go to the Toufen City Health Center to apply for the license renewal service for the elderly with the required license renewal fee (NT$50 each for cars and motorcycles). The elderly can undergo a physical examination, cognitive function test and complete the renewal at the Toufen City Health Center. The one-stop license replacement service makes the service more considerate.
Those who want to apply for simple supervision business can go to the Toufen City Office between 13:00 and 15:00 pm. in the first and third weeks (including travel, driver's license replacement, residence/employment address application, Japanese translation driver's license application , professional driver's license inspection, traffic violation payment, motorcycle scrapping, gas and fuel fee agreed account transfer and deduction and electronic bill application and senior driver's license replacement services.)
Folks over the age of 75 are reminded that if they have no need to drive or are assessed to be unfit to drive again, they are encouraged to voluntarily surrender their driver's licenses.
The Miaoli Supervision Station will provide on-site services for the first time in March on March 7 and 21 (Thursday). Folks are welcome to participate.
