Highway Bureau, MOTC
The Highway Bureau is committed to provincial highway engineering, highway transportation management and highway supervision, simplifying administration and facilitating the people. The business scope is divided into three categories: road engineering, road transportation and road supervision, providing convenient and safe services for the public.
Service Items

Required Documents:

  • Private Individual: R.O.C. ID Card (Original). 
  • Company/Corporation: Company Registration Certificate (Photocopy), Commercial License Registration (issued by the MOEA with an expiration date beyond November 2001), or Commercial Business Registration (Approval Certification for Establishment or Alteration Certificate - Photocopy). 
  • Sole Proprietorship: Company Registration Certificate (Photocopy), or Approval Certification (issued by the County Government for Alteration - Photocopy). 
  • Seal/Chop/Stamp: (exempt for those not crossing a demographic zone). 
  • Vehicle License: (Original). 
  • The Original "New License Plate Registration Form" (exempt for motorcycles) - clearly stating color, vehicle type, and seat arrangement alterations. 
  • Supplier's Invoice and Cargo Tax Payment Certificate, or Tax Exemption Certificate (for alterations of vehicle type and seat arrangement exceeding NT$7,000.00). 
  • Motor Compulsory Insurance Certificate (for relevant vehicle or motorcycle - valid for at least 30 days). 
  • Vehicle Loan Agreement (if applicable). 
  • If the alteration is only for vehicle chassis paint color, documents from the vehicle owner are not required.
