Required documents:

1. Original copy of national ID card or household registration certificate (plus other photo identity documents, such as national health insurance card, passport, military ID card, or driving license) or alien residence permit.
2. Original copy of driving license.

Fees:

1. Driving license exempt from renewal: (please refer to the description of “Periodic Renewal of Driving License”) Registration on the column of remarks: free.
2. Driving license requiring periodic renewal: (please refer to the description of “Periodic Renewal of Driving License”) Registration on the column of remarks: free.

If the driving license is due for renewal, a fee of NT$200 will be imposed.

Notes:

1. If the professional driving license is due for review, please complete the review first.
2. Please pay off any violation penalties first.
